Holly Woolley the chicken and her friends live here......

Holly (above) enjoying her free range life...

Holly the chicken is a very lucky girl!  In December 2015 Stuart took delivery of a lorry load of chicken manure for the organic farm where he worked.  The lorry drove 40 miles to make the drop and as it tipped, Holly flew off and landed at Stuart's feet. Just like the chicken run film she escaped from an egg production facility and has lived with us ever since. The photo below shows her when she arrived and the one above is how she looks now.....

We now have eight chickens who produce a variety of different coloured and sized eggs, you can buy some eggs from us when you visit - fresh, free range and delicious!

Holly, Beardy and Midget looking for worms, Speckle is camera shy and probably inside laying an egg!

Our latest arrivals August 2017 are four chickens who were rescued via the National Hen Welfare Trust, they were bald and in poor condition when they arrived but their feathers are growing slowly and have been enjoying the free range life with our other chickens! Midget, Beardy and Speckle.

The new girls favourite place is under the decking, they'll come out when their feathers grow back...
